About the Beatsteaks
The Beatsteaks are a German rock band formed in Berlin in 1995. The band consists of Arnim Teutoburg-Weiß (vocals), Torsten Scholz (guitar), Peter Baumann (guitar), Thomas Götz (bass), and Sebastian Witte (drums). The Beatsteaks have released seven studio albums, three live albums, and two compilation albums. Their most recent album, "You Mean the World to Me," was released in 2021. The Beatsteaks are known for their energetic live performances and their socially conscious lyrics. The band has been outspoken against racism and right-wing extremism, and their music often reflects their political views.
